About Book Locations:
Maxwell Library uses the Library of Congress Classification system for most of its circulating books. Books labeled "General Collection" will be found on the second and third floors of the library. Books labeled Reference are located on the first floor. Children's Books and books in the Educational Resource Center (ERC) are located on the second floor. Academic Onefile contains articles from 8,000 academic journals, the majority in full-text.
Academic Search Premier
A general-interest academic database which features full text for over 2,300 scholarly (peer-reviewed) journals as well as abstracts and indexing for many additional titles.
Literary Reference Center
Full-text broad spectrum of information on 1000's of authors and their works across literary disciplines and timeframes.
Literature Criticism Online
Includes Children's Literature Review (criticism and commentary on writers and illustrators for children and young adults), Drama Criticism (critical opinion and biographical information on significant dramatists or plays), Poetry Criticism (critical essays and biographical information on major poets from all eras), Short Story Criticism (critical surveys of the most widely studied authors of short fiction), and Contemporary Literary Criticism.
Literature Resource Center
Gale's Literature Resource Center provides access to biographies, bibliographies, and critical analyses of authors from every age and literary discipline.
Films on Demand
Provides more than 7,000 video titles covering a broad range of subject areas including humanities, social sciences, business, economics, science, mathematics, health, and medicine.
